An absolutely exceptional rod blank. These new TREK 8-piece travel rod blanks pack down to 11.5 inches and are made of UNI S Glass. They are spigot ferruled, offer a wonderful deep flex, and it's hard to believe they are eight-section rods.
I built this rod with a 5in cigar grip, and a down lock threaded seat, with walnut insert. I did a blened blue's/white wrap to match the included rod bag.This rod would pair perfectly with the TREK 2 5/8 reel and a 406 DT3 line or the Silver RM Baby reel as shown.
