An absolutely exceptional rod blank. These new TREK 8-piece travel rod blanks pack down to 11.5 inches and are made of UNI S Glass. They are spigot ferruled, offer a wonderful deep flex, and it's hard to believe they are eight-section rods.
I built this rod with a Rodmaker Retro down locking reel seat, a 5.5" cigar grip, with varigated silk thread wraps tipped bright red. Add the Baby Reel for a perfect combo.
